Founder of Enable Access
Pearse is an Occupational Therapist and Access Consultant with a passion to improve the world we live in. Pearse has two decades of experience working in health, disability, research and higher education, promoting that everyone has the right to participate in the activities they wish to, and not be limited by the environment around them.
Services
Enable Access has the knowledge and experience to meet and exceed your expectations. We pride ourselves on the professional approach to the services we deliver. Enable Access aims to not only provide the requested service but also educate clients on the importance of inclusive access, universal design and how all people are responsible for enabling access. The services include design phase consultation, auditing of the environment and SDA certification.
Design Consultation
Consultation during the design phase of projects, including liaising with project managers, architects and steering committees. Providing insight from legislation including Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1992, Access to Premises Standards 2010, AS1428.1 2021.
Access Audit and Report
Onsite audit and reporting of identified issues and non-compliance.
NDIS - SDA certification
Full SDA certification package including design phase certification and advice, construction phase audit and final audit and certification to register the property.
Occupational Therapy Services
I provide a variety of Occupational Therapy services for a range of people, with a specific passion for home environments and modifications.
